IT WAS MA BIRFDAY!!!!
We went bowling on Sunday and to Karaoke on Monday. Here are some pictures:
And now onto the FOOD. A Trader Joe’s twist on a classic. Totally worth it.
Cookie Butter Rice Krispie Treats
Yields one 13×9 pan
3 tbs butter
1 10oz bag marshmallows
5 1/2 C Rice Krispies
1/2 C Cookie Butter
Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan. Add the marshmallows and melt, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the cookie butter. Mix in the Rice Krispies until totally coated.
Lay some wax paper into a 9×13 pan and spray the paper and a spatula with some Pam. Scoop the Rice Krispie marshmallow mixture into the pan and spread evenly, pressing down with the sprayed spatula. Let cool and serve same day.
